Walmart has made the Fortune 500 list for nine consecutive years. Walmart has shared its success by supporting many non-profit organizations worldwide. Their philanthropy has a broad reach that most are not aware of.
Who would have thought Joseph Michael, Director of Wellness for Walmart in the Ocean County and parts of Monmouth County areas, would reach out to HOPE Sheds Light showing the significance of our mission and vision? HOPE Sheds Light’s mission is one Walmart is proud to promote, and we are honored and grateful to partner with them. Walmart generously has donated $9,000 towards HSL to advance our mission within the community.
Recently HOPE Sheds Light was fortunate to receive a van to have a wider reach within the community. We were honored to launch our van at the Little Egg Harbor Walmart this fall, bringing services to the community. We will continue to visit local Walmarts throughout the year. None of this would be possible without Walmart’s generosity.
In collaboration with Walmart, HOPE Sheds Light has launched a wellness initiative to serve the community, bringing awareness to Substance Abuse Disorder and reunifying communities and families. HOPE Sheds Light has conveyed its services to neighboring Walmart communities in both counties with its mobile HOPE Sheds Light van. HOPE Sheds Light is proud to partner with Walmart and bring change to the surrounding communities. None of this would be possible without their support and generosity.
