Hi and Welcome to the April 2020 edition of our Newsletter. I hope that you and your family members are staying healthy during these unprecedented times!!
I have to be honest this was a challenging Welcome for me to write. It has been my goal to remain both genuine and hopeful during this pandemic and that has been quite a task. In remaining genuine, I have had to be transparent about some of my own fears and anxieties related to COVID-19. To remain hopeful while sharing became the challenge… a good challenge! As it has forced me to seek out the things that I am grateful for each day. It has rooted me in my faith and strengthened my daily self-care practices. And most important, it has provided me with the ability to serve, through HOPE Sheds Light, as a daily instrument of hope to our community. Our Rise with Hope series that started last month is an outgrowth of our desire to remain emotionally connected to you during this time of physical distancing. It is our way of sharing some of our daily practices of self-care, insight into our faith in Hope, some of our hobbies and beliefs to bring us closer and keep us connected on a daily basis. Please take the time to read more about Rise with Hope and the many virtual Hope Recovery Center programs we are currently offering.
